Skylar’s family shares a common love for the outdoors. Every weekend they’re either hiking, fishing, swimming or simply playing outside. Her forest will be within close driving distance for everyone. Our hope is that visiting Skylar’s Forest becomes a family tradition stretching across multiple generations.
This urgent gift request will be donated to American Forests for the planting of Skylar’s Forest. Her forest will have 11,000 new trees, spanning across 20 acres alongside Bean Blossom Creek, Indiana. Your gift will also help with signage, land stewardship, plant maintenance and all other aspects of ensuring the highest quality survival rate.
Beanblossom Creek runs through Monroe and Brown counties in south-central Indiana, serving as a watershed for the nearly 92 square miles that drain into it. It serves as an important part of the White River watershed, which supplies drinking water for over a million Hoosiers and provides habitat for countless species of plants, animals, insects, and more.
